Single dummy and double dummy door knobs are both knobs that do not turn and have no latch mechanism. The difference between these styles is a single dummy knob is a lever on the exterior of the door and a rosette plate on this interior (no knob) to anchor it in place. Double dummy door knobs have a knob on either side of the door
