Precision Shear™ Forstner Bits are expertly engineered to deliver clean, flat-bottom holes with minimal splintering and chipping. Each bit features a double-ground, razor-sharp serrated edge that slices smoothly throughout rotation for a flawless finish. The advanced geometric design incorporates multiple cutting edges, resulting in enhanced shearing action, faster rotational speeds, and more efficient cutting.
Unlike conventional Forstner bits that create fine chips and dust—leading to increased friction, heat, and faster dulling—Precision Shear™ bits are designed to reduce debris buildup and extend tool life. The serrated edges also help produce cleaner holes with smooth walls, often eliminating the need for sanding.
